Normally, a presidential election in other countries of world would be more interesting for the citizens of only that particular country. To some extent, it also creates few ripples in foreign ministries of more closely associated countries. But a US presidential election is totally different. Being the most influential country in the world in terms of finance, military power and technical industry etc, it generates an unmatched interest in economies that are as far as Japan.
